Bring a book (or borrow one of ours!) and join the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival for a Lakeside Reading Retreat!

Take in panoramic views of Maumee Bay and Lake Erie as you arrive in a spacious private home in Point Place. Find a comfortable spot inside or outside and be ready to be pampered and relax. We will provide a three course meal and non-alcoholic beverages. You can also enjoy a manicure, facial, or tarot card reading for an extra fee.

Each $60 ticket includes a 4 hour session, meal, and beverages. Tarot Reading ($25) and Facials ($60) also available as add-ons!

Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival

The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is a book festival focused on the teens and tweens of Northwest Ohio. The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival team is an all-volunteer group made up of lovers of literature, who have come together to create a fantastic opportunity for teens from Northwest Ohio and the surrounding area to meet their favorite authors and discover new authors.

Book Festivals help keep teenagers reading for pleasure. Reading on their own develops stronger social skills, vocabulary and writing skills, helps them understand & process more complex ideas, expands their ability to build knowledge, and clarifies their career goals.

Pumpkin Bake-Off with Author Darci Hannah!

Join the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival to celebrate the release of “Murder at the Pumpkin Pageant” by Darci Hannah.

Calling all bakers! Celebrate Halloween early (in July!) with a pumpkin baking contest. We will award prizes for crowd favorite and most creative recipes.

Don’t bake? Come join us for a costume contest walk. Win a signed copy of “Murder at the Pumpkin Pageant” for the most creative costume.

Euchre Tournament

Euchre Tournament to Benefit The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival

The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is hosting a Euchre tournament at Way Public Library to raise funds for the festival. Prizes for the top two teams and the last place team. Drinks and snacks provided. $40 entry fee per team ($20 per person). A great opportunity to meet fellow card players, have some fun, and get out of the house!

Today we announced that thanks to Sourcebooks the next 50 registrants for the 2023 Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival will receive a free advance copy of “The Chaperone” by M. Hendrix! Ms. Hendrix will be participating in the festival and will sign books that afternoon.

Purse Bingo is just Bingo where you can win designer purses! Your ticket buys you eight rounds of bingo, light appetizers, and two drink tokens. You can purchase an extra ticket book, dobbers, raffle tickets, and drink tokens at the event.
