Euchre Tournament to Benefit The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival

The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is hosting a Euchre tournament at Way Public Library to raise funds for the festival. Prizes for the top two teams and the last place team. Drinks and snacks provided. $40 entry fee per team ($20 per person). A great opportunity to meet fellow card players, have some fun, and get out of the house!

Today we announced that thanks to Sourcebooks the next 50 registrants for the 2023 Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival will receive a free advance copy of “The Chaperone” by M. Hendrix! Ms. Hendrix will be participating in the festival and will sign books that afternoon.

Purse Bingo is just Bingo where you can win designer purses! Your ticket buys you eight rounds of bingo, light appetizers, and two drink tokens. You can purchase an extra ticket book, dobbers, raffle tickets, and drink tokens at the event.

Doors open at 5:30pm and bingo begins at 6:00pm.

Join us for the First Annual Goth Gala! A glamorous evening with dinner, dancing, live art, and silent auction benefiting teen literacy!

Proceeds to directly benefit the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival.

Keynote speaker Dirk Manning, writer/creator of comic series such as the supernatural noir Tales of Mr. Rhee, the genre-bending horror anthology Nightmare World, Buried But Not Dead, Twiztid Haunted High-Ons (nominated for three Ringo Awards, including Best Humor Comic of 2020), Hope, Butts in Seats: The Tony Schiavone Story, Love Stories (to Die For), and The Adventures of Cthulhu Jr. & Dastardly Dirk. Now predominantly publishing with Source Point Press, Dirk was an early adapter in using crowdfunding to launch pre-sales of his comics and graphic novels.

Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival

Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is a book festival focused on teens and tweens of Northwest Ohio. The festival will be hosted at Rossford Junior/Senior High on Saturday, March 18, 2023 from 9 am to 3:30 pm. The festival will consist of 5 Sessions, with 5 Breakout options per Session. Each attendee will be scheduled for one Lunch Breakout, so they will be attending 4 Breakouts total. The event will end with a Book Signing session where participants can get their books signed by the authors!

The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is a volunteer organization made up of lovers of literature, who have come together to create a fantastic opportunity for teens from Northwest Ohio and the surrounding area to meet their favorite authors and discover new authors.
