We are excited to host the second Author Fair since the re-opening of public spaces after COVID-19’s peak. On September 11th, 2022 (September 18th if weather does not cooperate), join us and over 20 area authors to celebrate what they love most: books. From children’s picture books to horror, science fiction/fantasy to regional nonfiction, and everything in between, there is something for every reader.

This year’s fair includes the addition of parking lot games, a coffee truck, live painting by local artists, author readings, and more. Food will be available, with proceeds going toward funding the 2nd annual Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival, along with craft beer samples from the Glass City Mashers.

Northwest Ohio has always had a thriving arts scene, including authors and poets across the spectrum of skill and style. The Author Fair (which is one of the only larger-scale book events in the area) is our way of supporting local authors and getting great literature into the hands of local readers. Of Rust and Glass, a Midwest publisher based out of Maumee, is Gathering Volumes’ co-sponsor in 2022.
