The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is being organized to connect teens with authors and celebrate a love of literature.
If you are an author, publisher, or publicist, you can use this page to submit an author to the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival committee through September 30 of the year prior to the festival.
The Details
To be considered for the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival:
Participation in the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is by invitation only. Authors invited to participate will be featured in solo, moderated, or panel sessions. Authors are not invited to participate in the Book Signing session alone.
The Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival is focused on teens. Therefore we are interested in authors of books written for teens. Fiction, Nonfiction, and Poetry books (no chapbooks) are all acceptable. Books outside of the young adult age range, self-improvement books, and primary academic/religious books will not be considered. To be considered for the festival, the book must be available to traditional book sellers as a bound book. Titles that will be available as an eBook only will not be considered.
The following must be submitted by a publicist or author and postmarked no later than September 30:
- Full contact information for author & publicist, if applicable
- One copy of a finished book, galley/ARC, or manuscript you wish to be considered; electronic submissions will not be considered (backlist titles are not necessary)
- Information about your ability to fund your own lodging and travel to Perrysburg, OH if your publisher is not covering the cost
There is no fee for submissions. Books submitted for consideration will not be returned. Not all submissions will be invited to participate in the Northwest Ohio Teen Book Festival. Invitations will be issued in November the year prior to the festival.
